Hello all. I am a young teacher from Australia and I am currently doing my Masters in TESOL. I teach adults and I have often found myself teaching people who are middle aged or elderly. In my course they basically treat all adult learners as the same, but I have noticed significant differences. Has anyone else had experiences like this? What are your experiences of teaching elderly and middle-aged students? What things do I need to be aware of? What can I do?
