Hello from OZ!

I am presently studying for my MA in TESOL which I intend to complete December this year, have attained Professional Diploma (9 Specialisations)and have some practical experience.

I amm 55 years of age, ex corporate executive with twenty years experience as well as a parent of four, now all successful Sydney University graduates.

Also, I am a trained cunsultant in the 'Birkman Method - a multi-facited individual assessment facility.

Will somebody please tell me :~

1) What are my prospects in Korea?

2) What sort of salary range can one expect to negotiate for?

3) Private Tutoring - many teachers tutor I understand. I should like to learn a little more about this aspect...

4)The normal weekly time period teaching is some 25 hours; is it possible to teach 40 hours per week? Would the extra 15 hours be classed as overtime? If so, at what rate?

5) Specialisations - High School Students yrs 11 & 12, University Students - IELTS / TOEFL Preparation - Birkman Method Self Analytical Reports - Practical Skills in Resume Development, Negotiation Development, Interview Techniques, The Job Market, Research Development Skills.

6) As a Birkman Consultant, Individual Performance Potential Analysis - will I be able to consult in this area? (The school contracted to, of course, but what about private consulting or consulting in the commercial world of South Korea)

When I come to Korea next year I, would very much like to catch up with ESL teachers there; would you, the reader of this communique, be amenable to this?
Would you consider giving me your email address so that I could contact you again, in confidence naturally, with 'sensitive' issues as in 3 above for instance?

Regards,

RR.
