What turnoi says is 100% true -- I concur wholeheartedly! I went to China to help students, but almost immediately, the experience became much more about protecting myself (health, for starters) from unethical employers who care little or nothing about their students, staff, or FTs.

In this way (among so many) China REALLY needs to clean up its act, but of course, left up to those "in power," that will never happen. In order to turn the situation around (only slightly) will require much louder complaining (publically) on the part of paying customers (students and their parents) and staff and teachers. Embarrassment and "losing face," is one of the only things employers understand, and respond to.

Organized efforts are required. Otherwise, as turnoi indicates, it's just a free-for-all of everyman for himself, in an ocean of sharks.
