Hello everyone,
I was looking for some advice. I teach preschool through kindergarten and this question is about the latter. My students are at completely different levels. Some are learning so much, but I have a few that are learning almost nothing. This is due to the fact that they cannot read and do not even know phonics or the alphabet. We seperate the students according to age not by level----which I hate. I don't want to slow my better students for the sake of a few others, but feel obligated to get them up to speed. Any suggestions? Oh and I only get 50 minutes a day with each class. Thanks-Paige!
