Is one of them the detrimental effect on an FT's mindset about Chinese Louban,perhaps also wrongly extrapolated by that Louwai to include all Chinese people, caused by that person having been initially treated like royalty when needed urgently followed by finally being cast aside like a piece of unwanted trash when no longer required?What a culture shock!
It's somewhat similar to a kind of mental torture sometimes inflicted on detainees by their interrogators so as to cause disorientation of the mind,not too far removed from the good cop,bad cop technique.
