I agree non-native speakers will always suffer from (-ve) discrimination in China.But so will male FT's, be they native or non-native speakers of English.Why?
1st, a female FT's pronunciation is usually clearer.
2nd, a female FT's oral tones are often more harmonious.
3rd, a higher % of female FT's are more co-operative with their bosses.
4th, a higher % of female FT's are better at dealing with young people.
5rd, a higher % of female FT's are better at teaching.
6rd, a higher % of male FT's are heavy drinkers.
7th, a higher % of male FT's have romantic flings with Chinese.
8th, a higher % of male FT's do as little as possible.
Last, female FT's, especially beautiful young ones with blonde hair, are preferred by Chinese employers,most of whom are men.
That's why the less attractive locations and the impoverished areas of China have a higher % of male FT's than female FT's.
