Yesterday, I was turned down for a teaching job here in China because, and ONLY because, I am BLACK. "The schools only want whites", I was told. "...can't change that fact", I was told. Shouldn't the criteria be 'the brightest candidate' and not 'the lightest candidate'?

One world, one PIPE dream? So blatant. Still? Today? 2008?
