I've been teachin' in these here parts for well nigh onto 10 years.
Can't do this much longer, as I've just passed freedom 55.
Dismissed the recruiting thing, and although a viable idea, it has some distasteful connotations.
Went to the Philippines a few months ago, and there was somewhat of a proliferation of "International Schools." What attract students (and parents alike), is it's warm climate, relative low cost, and the preponderance of English as the spoken language of choice there.
I don't need to get rich, but it would be nice to find a few altruistically minded people (and perhaps a few minor venture capitalists), to give some thought to actually starting our own school.
But that's what it is at this time: just a thought.
