Been sippin' a bit of the holiday cheer, eh laddy?

Reminds me of my first experience with the Chinese "white wine" during a Spring Festival visit to a village in Hebei. After passing out and being carried (literally) off to bed, the "call of nature" woke me up at two or three in the morning. Unfortunately, I was still quite, well, shall we say "affected?" I may as well have been trying to make it across a frozen wasteland as I endeavored to reach the outdoor latrine on the other side of the courtyard. Yeah, it seemed miles away, as I staggered and lurched inch by drunken inch, and I couldn't escape the realization that if I fell down I'd never get up and would be found there in the morning, frozen and stiff.

Can't touch that stuff anymore.

Happy Holidays all!
