As a consequence of information gleaned from your posts, I ceased worrying about not having been offered a teaching contract to sign at my new workplace since starting my teaching. And it has turned out that indeed there was nothing to fear in that respect because I was offered the original sample contract to sign earlier yesterday afternoon. Besides, the head of department expressed that my demo lesson was fine after apologizing for not having spoken to me earlier about it due to her heavy workload.
