Hello! I am taking a graduate course about Limited English Learners and ESL classroom teachers. My project this week is to interview an ESL teacher. If an ESL could answer the following questions for me:

1. Background info: Number of years as ESL instructor, grade level teaching, school name
2. What do you enjoy most about your job?
3. What are the biggest challenges that you face in your job?
4. Have you see any changes in the student population since you began teaching?
5. What do you wish you had know when you first started teaching that you know now?
6. Do you have any advice for me as an intern or for when I get my own classroom?

Thank you so much for your help. This class has really been enjoyable, learning about the different challenges educators face each day.
