First, the ESL industry is not what we're questioning. How can we rationally discuss the EFL industry without making a clear distinction between the two?
Second, how is it that you propose correcting the EFL industry in China when one of the biggest problems is that any Tom, Dick. Harry or Jane can get a job as a teacher here. Surely, you don't believe that it's a ship that will right itself while employing thousands and thousands of unqualified, and uncaring "teachers."
