...Or is it OK to enter on tourist visa and take schools word for it they wil organise transfer to a working z visa and then residence?

We are in Japan at moment but considering working in China, we have had offers that say come to china on f tourist visa and school will organise your working z visa and residence afterwards.

Is this normal or is it normal for school to send you offer letter first so you can organise z visa at local chinese embassy

we are not sure what normal procedure is ...are these scammers...they say that as they are recruiters and school is in different province sometimes....working visa is only valid if organised from province you work in.....

we heard that especially after olympics its harder to transfer from tourist to working visa so you should ignore schools that do not offer z visa first before you enter china...

please any information would be appreciated.
