In response to Position Statement Against Discrimination of Nonnative Speakers of English in the Field of TESOL (thingsclear)

Each time I come across a submission / report / debate about native English speaking English teachers versus / compared to non-native English speaking English teachers, the following questions always come to mind:

How would native Tagalog speakers feel about native English speakers teaching Tagalog?

How would native Mandarin speakers feel about native English speakers teaching Mandarin?

How would native Thai speakers feel about native English speakers teaching Thai?

And so on . . . . .
