I have noticed also that there are several pretend Chinese posters on this board and also on other ESL/EFL sites. Usually they can be spotted easily because of their incorrect use of pinyin.

The laowai I can't stand the most in China are those who have Chinese wives and think they know everything. Many of them are lazy, can't speak any Putonghua, and rely on their Chinese wife to translate everything for them. However they think they know more about China than any other foreigner does.

We have the pretend teacher, pretend schools, pretend universities, pretend managers ( DOS ), better add "pretend Chinese people" to that list!
