In response to re non-native speaker (Felix)

hi Felix,

I'm not a native speaker from an Asian country, though I've been teaching in China for almost a year now.

Just have this one question and I really hope you can enlighten me on it.. Is there really such a law recently passed in China in which non-native speakers should not be granted work visas as EFL teachers?

If there really is... how unfair can they be? just because we don't have blue eyes doesn't make us less of a teacher. I may be a non-native speaker, but I sure can speak and express myself very well in English, just like other non-native speakers out there.

Thank you.
