I am taking an ESL certification course on assessment. I a doing a paper on the Maculaitis Assessment of Competencies Test of English Language Proficiency II. I would like to communicate with teachers who have administered this test or students who have taken this test. I have lots of formal information from the test distributor, books of reviews ...., but I need information regarding the test's practicality, validity, reliability, and appropriateness.
For example, How did it help you (teacher) in designing your instruction? Did most of students' proficiency levels on the test match your opinion of their proficiency? Explain. What do think are the test's strengths? weaknesses? How well did the content on test align with the content you taught in your curriculum? With what parts of the test did your students struggle? What parts did they not struggle with? How is your school using the test results?
