There is a decent article in the Newsweek magazine, Asian edition, which focuses on many of the topics mentioned in this discussion forum. It is entitled "English, Who Owns It?" It was in the March 7th 05 edition. I went to google to find it and I typed in,"Newsweek article by Carla Power, "English, Who Owns It?" and I was then transferred to the site where I was able to read and copy this article.For all of you contributing to this forum, I think it is worth the read.
