I live near Daytona Beach / Orlando Florida and want to get a teaching certificate to teach English in Korea. I have taught previously in China for one year and in Korea for a one month summer English camp. I would like to return to Korea to teach full time, preferably teaching in a University but because of my age, 23, lack of a masters degree, and only 1 year experience I don't think that will be possible. I'll probably be teaching elementary through high school but will only work in a public school. I'm looking for a certificate that will be accepted internationally and preferably pretty cheap. Anyone have any recommendations? Ultimately I want to teach University so I prefer a flexible certificate, and I don't want to travel outside of Daytona/Orlando for the classes (preferably Daytona).

I ask because I heard many certificates are not accepted. I also heard any 150 hour TEFL certificate will be sufficient. Is this true? One of those classes that cost $300 online?
