I like the sound of this job advert, but it seems to specify American English speakers only (and where does this leave Canadians?). Do they mean only citizens of the USA as I presume, or is it extended to Canadians as well?

What if even though I am from the UK I can speak English in an 'American' way?

Sad to say, it seems Taiwan has many jobs in this vein.

Can anyone shed more info on the preference for American English?
