Im confused, ---I guess just like most newbies climbing aboard the ESL Train. Ive written a recruiter in Taiwan--- He tells me a position can be found in Taiwan or Korea teaching english without a BA of any kind. Furthermore, I explained a friend who had only a 3 yr community college degree wanted to teach in either country and that he would be able to but only as a kindergarten instructor. Reading some of these posts, I have come across teachers with even less educational background ----having only High School and a TESL certificate. Is this illegal to work in either country with such qualifications? What is the fate of these people when they are caught having unproper qualifications in either country? Finally----- is it possible to work around such conditions and still stay on the up and up?
