In response to Racism "Normal" in Asia? (Dragonized)

You made me think of the people in Japan we call "Japanophiles" based on your description of the people who are obsessed with the country/the people and just turn a blind eye and act like everything's peachy and that racism/discrimination never happens because it never happened to THEM. Even so, just speaking for Japan, I have been much better treated by Japanese compared to what I have faced in my native area in the U.S. It's more a matter of xenophobia with the Japanese, before racism, at least as it pertains to Westerners. I plan on going to China, which I know will be a horse of a VERY different color but it will be interesting to compare.
