It is ok for foreign drunks to teach in China IMHO.

Silverboy, you know we agree on training centres, filipino women, and if we were having a beer probably many other things.

But drinking (especially on the job at a public uni that is quite respectable) would lead to you being fired...and then how could you ask for a reference, thus further harming your future.

I like my beer as much as the next guy...hence my name...but a time and a place is called for,at home in the evenings or on a night out with friends, if you can't make it through the day without beer then you need to be at AA in your home country, not teaching in another far off place, and then tarring all of us with the same brush.

You couldn't turn up drunk at any job in the west, why some foreigners think you can do so in China as well is beyond me.
