Well,

First off a big thanks to Silverboy/Turnoi and others who have been encouraging to me in my job quest.

I now have a glitch with my debit card (frustrating!) which prevents me booking a flight to China...but I hope this will be resolved.

I am aware however, painfully, that the semester for public jobs has already begun. My main fears are being given the scraps, and getting some god awful position in a third tier city. Most main fear, training centre work...which I refuse to even entertain as an idea!!

So it seems I am right back to square one after endless stabbing away. Does anyone in China want teachers? Are any recruiters prepared to be honest and not distort truth? Sadly, it seems teaching in China is getting worse...which is strange as I actually enjoyed some public jobs in China?! Or maybe it is just harder to get gigs when not in situ in the PRC?

Anyways...happy weekend all, but it is still nose to the grindstone for me!
