But now he has been spotted twice in the local area in 7 days and ran away when he was spotted. I have information that he is working in a bar not far from my house, so on Tuesday night I will be visting that bar. If he's there I can't wait to see the look on his face!

Silverboy, am I right in presuming he is indebted to you financially? If so, I hope you see him there, and can get your money back. This is a good time to alert our fellow readers not to fall for hard-luck stories from westerners in China. Lending money to westerners in China is more often than not very unwise. You're unlikely to get your money back. What with hordes of scroungers, alcoholics and other knaves in addition to stingy people comprising the vast majority of laowei here, it's best to be distrustful and mean until you get to know individual expats rather well.
