And contrary to what people say, you can still get a legal RP wihout a degree in some places.
I would agree. I know a couple of brit guys without degrees, and they have been here for donkeys years, and been employed legally.
I also agree about Suzhou, like Shanghai, it seems to attract GW or uppity type foreigners, who for some reason could never teach in a public gig, or are totally unemployable back home. There they fit right in, their true calling if you like?! What a JOKE!!!
