As many of us teaching in China know only too well, internet connections at schools and FE establishments are narrow-band. But it's still possible to watch streaming Premier League football matches from England via streams, actually delayed by around 10 minutes from live times.
Yesterday I watched the matches at St James's Park, Old Trafford and Loftus Road via the net on Shanghai Sports Television Channel.
To watch streaming football, click the link below, then on the word 'sports' in the categories column on the left. Wait for the page to appear. Next click Shanghai Sports TV. Wait for the TV station video player to appear. Finally, expand its screen by clicking the symbol at the bottom right of the player. There is a horizontal line straight through the speaker symbol and that one, but it doesn't affect their intended functions.
