I think meandering can sometimes alleviate boredom. I do see your point, though.

I think one of the interesting things about group dynamics that may or may not come into play in this or any other forum, is that there is fortunately usually one or more people that have the ability, or desire, to get the conversation back on topic.

Well, in other words, I think meandering or even seriously digressing at times is okay because it seems to be a human trait, and given enough time we usually find a way to get back to the original topic when it's important enough to do so. Hopefully anyway. It does sometimes amaze me, though, how life can sometimes seem like a series of unfinished conversations.

And yes, the simple, yet wonderful ladies are out there; they're just damn hard to find in the cities unless they've managed to resist the urge to play the game and have stayed true to their village roots.
