Hello,

I am in search of my first Teaching position and would like some advice. Paid accommodations have been a driving factor for me, so I have particularly looked toward Asian countries since the schools seem more prevalent to providing housing (or stipend). I have chosen Thailand as the top overall choice for finding an but have been informed the hiring times are typically April/May. Two schools have offered me contracts in China, however I have read many horrible reviews about both institutions.

My question for anyone to help is: Am I limiting myself too much by looking for only positions with housing and higher pay? I actually feel that some of the South American countries may fit me better, especially for a first time position since I speak relatively fluent Spanish. The only reason I have not explored positions is because I'm worried that I may not be able to afford living expenses as I have no savings to fall back on.
