Hello fellow teachers
I work for ALIFA Sushan Language Center, and our director mentioned she went to a meeting about foreigners getting Chinese insurance (all 5 types including medical, retirement, and unemployment).That means schools would have to pay almost 1000 yuan for foreign teachers and foreign teachers would get a little over 200 taken out of their pay every month. Supposedly like in Korea you could get back some money when you are finished your contract. But as far as medical insurance, you could only use as much as you have put onto your card; it's not unlimited. What do you think about this?
