Guangdong has its problems, but its a good place to make money

This is pretty pertinent, however I DON'T agree it is a good place to make money.

The cantonese, guangdong ren, are well known even amongst other chinese for being corner cutters and getting straight to the meat (profit).

Look at all the casinos in Macau, and shopping malls in HK all full of guangdong people. They get that money by cutting corners in education also.

I'd question you really make what you make, unless you have an MA and are working at one of the international universities.

If you want to make money,go to the gulf, then you will make what would equate to around 22,000 rmb with your own apartment and round trip airfare and medical insurance as well.
