Spiderman, if you really want to go to china and live on the 5600rmb per month then it would completely depend on where you're going. Big cities like Guangdong, shanghai, and beijing would require you to live frugally like a college student in any western country while in smaller places you can splurge a little more but only on chinese made stuff. If you want to buy western things or even decent electronics and clothing you'll find that it might be a little tight. If you're going to a smaller place without much of a nighlife you can actually save some of the money, but if you like hanging out at bars and discos back home you'll find it a bit boring. Again it all comes back to where you're actually going in china.

With china, it's really about controlling yourself from temptations that seem to pop up everywhere. Stay focused on learning chinese and don't get caught up in too many things. If you do you might find it easier to go back home fighting Venom and Green Goblin. Good luck!
