Yes, hot water for showering and shaving, a decent western style washing machine, properly flushing toilet and unlimited fast internet is exactly what should be standard.

I also push for working cable TV and TV set, and a computer, so as to avoid exposing my laptop to malware or potential hacking/spying. Using linux reduces that risk though!

A printer is also a good idea for a FT with toner supplies, and perhaps an iron and ironing board.

The rest i can manage without just fine!
