It's 9:30, Steven Spielbergs duel is on the TV,cold beer in hand, someone rapping loudly on my glass door....who the F88k, two chinese teachers, I mention it is saturday night, I don't wish to be disturbed, their request, can you teach my daughter (the female teacher) for 3 hours tomorrow.

I say no for two reasons, 1 it is the weekend, 2 it is too short notice.

After much argy-bargying I wave them away with a vague monday, and was just left shaking my head.

Some things will never change?!

So, I guess my question is, how do you deal with all of these annoying requests?

Things I have found so far, if you have a mobile phone, don't let them know the number.

Live off campus, but don't let them know about it, life will be easier.

Any others?
