Hey guys and dolls,

I'm teaching in the boondocks of China, and enjoyin every minute of it. A walk in the park, and loads of leisure time.
But my rent-free apartment is close to three chimneys. In the fading light of most evenings, the air in my pad suddenly starts smelling foul, and makes me cough violently. So, I've decided to close my windows near dusk - roasting in the heat indoors is the lesser of two evils. I reckon incineration of garbage is the problem, and that garbage must contain plastic bags.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not blaming China per se. However, foul-smelling air must be bad for one's health, and could cause premature death if it's the carrier of cancer-causing chemicals.
Related to my piece above, is interesting news regarding the late Donna Summer. The article below is worth digesting. Take care, friends. Don't expose yourself to foul air.
