Although to be honest, having stayed in guesthouses in that building before the rooms are all muchalike. If Mirador is meant to be nicer, then god knows what Chungking must be like.

If you pay more it is possible to get a nicer room however, but for travelling teachers like us that budget, a beer, a bed and a SONG is all we need, lol.

Incidentally, there are excellent currie houses in CK mansions, if that food tickles your fancy.
