i was in colombia for two years, and is the best country in south america, at least in my opinion

in colombia most crime occurs in rural parts, far away from the cities, the colombian cities arent as bad as rio de janeiro o caracas

I liked it a lot, and nothing happened to me, the tourists who get kidnapped are people who ventures into deep parts of the country, where there is nothing but guerrillas and anacondas

i was in medellin, cali, bogota, cartagena, barranquilla and i absolutely loved it
