Cheonan is a growing city located 84 kilometres from Seoul. It's a convenient place to live. You can be in Seoul or Daejeon in about 30 minutes.

There are two bus terminals, regular and express and two train stations, the high speed KTX and regular train.

Other facilities include: a movie multi-plex, department stores (like the Galleria, Lotte mart, E-mart and Carrefour), a new sports complex, an art gallery and lots of fast food restaurants.

Since there are tons of hakwons (private institutes) and universities popping up in Cheonan you can also find a growing number of expats living here.
