If you want a really disastrous experience, join SMR Malaysia as a teacher mentor.
Although their advertising states that you need Uni Degree + TESOL + experience, mentors with NO UNi Degree, NO TESOL and NO experience have been hired-so dont let lack of quals deter you-BUT it appears you need to be a friend of a friend.
The program is run by the Malaysian Ministry of Education, and the contractor SMR administer it in west Malaysia in a manner that...well-I will let you judge.
I was dismissed from the company because I dared to question its veracity after they were fined for dodgy accounting.

As he has named himself in various posts this is not a personal attack- I am simply assisting him spread his message, as he threatened to do that himself.

Investigation revealed he posts under the names SMRPROJECT, VERITAS, CHINAEFLDUDE, AMUSED and A MENTOR. Notice I post only under my own name-silly? Maybe, but honesty means something to me.
Obviously he wants the entire world to see what a bad person I am, so I am assisting him to do that by posting his comments.
Would you work for this outfit? I doubt it. Run!
