The point I was making is this, Turnoi- The UK is a democratic country- Thatcher was the longest serving premier of the last century- It is obvious that Thatcher was very popular with the British people. In my opinion THatcher continued the destruction of British Industry, really started by the previous party in the scrapping of the TRS2, solely because the Americans didn't have such an advanced aircraft themselves and they didn't want competition. The Americans got us to agree to not only scrap the prototypes but also the plans, so that any future government could not bring it back. However, Thatcher was loved by most of the British people and should not be disrespected by silly names and contempt.
