If I can blow up the ESL world and start over I would. I figured out after the first year I was here that my employee could care less how I felt or what I wanted.
I get satisfaction from myself as I see some of students really improve their lives from my instruction. That is what keeps me going. I also keep in touch with some of my old students; they are like children. I see them graduate from university, study abroad, get married etc. This is what is good about it, small- but enough for me to stay in ESL.
