Just download some situation plays from BBC. Print out the lines for the whole class to follow while watching the video you have also prepared. Choose 3-4 student to play the characters. The topics are endless.

Also ,I like to lecture (using the blackboards) experiences from my own life- for example for the older children I did 'How to prepare a body for cremation or burial, and how different disposals require different preparations- the kids were fascinated- and it's amazing how new words and expression can come from this type of teaching.

Games, I would avoid them-they can be very undignified for the FT and the students can get noisy, and we don't want that now do we?
