The congestion problem at Brisbane Airport is a good example, that's why I mentioned it.

Fair enough mate, that happens at LHR (heathrow airport) too. Runway debate is ongoing there, as is Boris Johnsons proposal to build the new airport in the thames estuary and reclaim/redevelop some of the land at the old airport, and reduce it in size, and move most of the flights to the proposed new one. The infrastructure in the UK is creaking as well. At manchester airport the terminal cannot accomodate the new airbus a380, yet in Dubai, Taipei, all their terminals can. The UK is lagging behind and needs to buck up in this regard!
