Off the top of my head, and speaking as an American, I think location in the US needs to be factored in as well. For example, what a Chinese immigrant will experience in New York City, or the whole east coast for that matter, will be far different than what their counterparts in the west will experience. And those who settle in the Mid-west, or Texas, or Alaska or the North West, well, you get my point. America is as diverse as China. Where I live, we embrace the Asian community. I doubt, therefore, that the suicide rate would be as high here for Chinese women as it would elsewhere in the country. Unless, of course they get sick of the rain............
