You suffer from culture shock...

You thought China was somehow more moral than your homeland.....sorry, but its the same ol' sh*t no matter where you.

There are good people and bad people everywhere you go.....even in your home country.

And I am sure I can go to your country and find people who believe that they are morally superior to someone else also, so if you believed the person who said 'Chinese are a moral people' it was your fault for believing that person...not the whole countries fault.

Whilst that part is true, you must remember that Chinese people tend to get a bit nationalistic and excessively proud of themselves. Nothing wrong with pegging them down a notch or two.
