John O'Shei - 2013-12-16

After reading that article I would say that Dr Norman Bethune was a disgrace. That person did not contribute anything to the world, just helped the self-serving Chinese when he really should have stayed in his own country.
If that is the sort of character Mr Flintoff worships, respects, and wants to emulate, well, he is a big worry!

As irritating as he can be, when it comes to famous Canadians in China, I'd have far more respect for somebody that wishes to follow in the footsteps of Da Shan, than Dr. Norman Bethune.

I'm beginning to wonder if that poster was really just a Chinese GW, as I think the first Canadian in China that would be referred to by most foreigners and even Chinese people alike, would indeed usually be Da Shan.
