Europe is much safer than China because of the rule of law
I don't know, I am going to sit on the fence on this one, I have only experienced crime against me twice in China over 7 years...I'd say that is not bad, and once was really through my own inattention.
I can't or wouldn't even DARE to walk the streets of my hometown in Greater Manchester, England after dark....it is also not pleasant in the day time. rule of law is not much good if nutters get out of prison after a few months or a year, free to bottle someone or knife someone again. Lock them away, make them work, just keep them away from decent people FFS.....
