Indeed, but imho those universities with partnerships back "home" tend to attract the worst kind of entitlement seeking FT's. I knew a horrible woman from manchester who had taught at ningbo...her only justification for being there (despite ningbo being a niceish city by chinese standards!) was the money. Sorry, but while money is important it is not everything, but each to their own, I'd rather earn half and have more free time, than be on some schedule and stressing about saving X amount each month and get some rest, again each to their own. good post though!
