Tea from India, curry from India (tikka masala is a milder preparation for brits, indians won't eat that stuff!), and curry the national dish or is the doner kebab now?

Odd how times change, when I went back to my hometown, a satellite town of Greater Manchester, after a few years in China, I was amazed at how many doner kebab shops there were and how few fish and chip shops there were. Those that were there were being run by HK Chinese mostly.
