China needs to ban and deport all non-natural English teachers. Natural speaking degree holders should get the top jobs assisted by degreeless heroes to make up the numbers. We need to end students being mislead by non-natural speakers- being told you can't say this or that when you can; and you can say this or that when you can't.
Ja, you are dead on there. We must be careful, or there may be no-one left at all to teach in China. I would go so far as to say that even those park bench sleeping blokes would make great teachers, lots of hardships and life experience, and many tales with which to regale their students. In fact, I'd say that newly degree hipster 20 somethings should be considered last before older, degreeless, homeless, blokes from the West. They should come first in my opinion, why one may well ask? They simply know how to teach the chinese kids and make them laugh, and that is half of the battle, if you can make them laugh, you can hold their interest....they are not interested in 23 year old Lee from Lewes with a degree in history, boring them to tears, what they really want is Mr Bean and a right good laugh,.....they got snowed under with homework from their chinese teachers, the FT's class is a chance for them to relax, so to speak.
